Remote opportunity and 10% travel nationwide 

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Project Manager serves as the key liaison between Partners, Customers, Operations, and Internal Leadership to ensure the positive success of each assigned project and ultimately ensure Customer Delight. The Project Manager will bring experience in full life-cycle project management, resource management, project financial management, and risk/issue identification along with a focus on best-of-class communication to our evolving PMO.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Expertly manage the following tasks: Documentation Review, Planning and Defining Scope, Activity Planning, Working with Vendors, Resource Planning, Developing Schedules, Time Estimating, Cost Estimating, Risk Analysis, Managing Risks, and Issues, Monitoring and Reporting Progress, Documentation (Status Reports, Acceptance Testing, As-Built), and Team Leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel including site remodels and new construction
  • Be the key player in the proactive management of project communications with stakeholders; including partners, customers, field resources, and internal leadership
  • Actively lead the documentation, communication, management, and escalation of risk across multiple projects
  • Ability to learn internal administrative tasks for project setup and closeout across multiple software platforms
  • Coordinate and compile all project deliverables for Customer Submission
  • Manage the day-to-day financial aspects of projects which include profitability, revenue, margin, and project costs-based accounting
  • Responsible for monthly job cost review (JCR) and forecasting with Corporate Leadership
  • Help identify and drive opportunities to improve overall PMO performance, including process and methodology evolution
  • Master relationship builder – Ability to influence and hold accountable team members even when there is not a direct reporting relationship
  • Ability to support a fast-paced demanding work schedule; including early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated
  • When working on-site, will be required to wear common PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management/ Business or 8 years of relative industry experience
  • 3 Years of Project Management experience in the IT Professional Services industry
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferred Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP)
